He was a humble celebrity, for many fans have received an active response by him on social media platforms. He was a believer, a dreamer, a doer and an inspiration for a lot of young actors coming from a small town. Apart from these things, there are many gestures shown by the late actor that made him liked by all.

When The Star Was Born(Sushant Singh Rajput)?

Sushant Singh Rajput took birth on 21st of January, 1986 in Purnia district of Bihar. He was the youngest child and only son of Krishna Kumar Singh (father) and Usha Singh (mother). Talking about education, Sushant attained his early schooling from Patna’s St. Karen High School.

Then he went to Kulachi Hansraj Model School, New Delhi to attain his later school education. Sushant was exceptionally good in studies and have successfully taken the entrance exams of 11 best engineering colleges of India. Along with that, he was a big fan of physics and has also won a National Olympiad in the same.

In the year 2003, he got 7th rank at the entrance exam of DCE (Delhi College Of Engineering). He got the admission and started pursuing bachelors in engineering from the mechanical branch. During college days, Sushant was very active in the field of art and culture; he used to take part in dramatics. Later on, his love for acting won over his fate and he dropped out of college to pursue acting.


Where it all started?

In the year 2002, Sushant’s life took a sad turn when he lost his mother. However, in spite of breaking down, he got motivated to work even harder to make her proud. While doing engineering at DCE, Sushant Singh Rajput joined the dance group of renowned choreographer Shiamak Davar. After being inspired by some of his colleagues at the dance group Sushant enrolled for Barry John’s Acting School. Sushant was doing great at his dance group and as a result of that, he made it to be in the prominent troupe. Followed by that event, Sushant got the chance to perform at 51st Filmfare Awards and commonwealth games in 2006. Over the years, Sushant has appeared as a role model for many youngsters but he started from scratch to reach there.


When Struggle Of Years, Finally Paid Off

After a couple of ad commercials, Sushant got a break on Television with ‘Pavitra Rishta’ a daily soap by Ekta Kapoor. In the time span of a few years, Sushant Singh Rajput gained enormous popularity and became a TV star. Sushant got in a relationship with Ankita Lokhande (his co-star in Pavitra Rishta) and they did several Reality shows together. However, Sushant knew that his talent and hard work won’t limit him only to television.

Soon after a successful career on television, Sushant made his debut on the big screen with ‘Kai Po Che’.  After his first film, there was no looking back for Sushant with a film like PK he rose to fame. In the year 2015, Sushant broke his image of a romantic hero and played the lead role in ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’. After that, Sushant played the role of Indian cricket team’s ex-captain M.S. Dhoni to perfection.

Sushant Singh Rajput used to love Astro-science, he even owned a telescope of his own. He was an intellectual artist. With his performance in the movies like Sonchiriya, Sushant has made himself immortal in the world of acting. Last time people spotted the late shining star on screen was with Chhichhore in 2019. However, his last film Dil Bechara was released on Disney+Hotstar and it turned out to be a big hit.
