YOGA AT HOME AND YOGA WITH FAMILY
Yoga, An old tradition in our Indian culture. The whole world is facing a big financial and emotional crisis due to the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19.
Especially in India, the things are not at all favourable this year, so many casualties are happening these days as the death of famous celebrities, the situation of war with China, a pandemic outbreak of COVID-19, people dying due to this coronavirus or the depression virus which are taking place inside their mental peace.
But after so many things going on around us we people still are trying to cope up with these things and waiting patiently for the good times to come and bad times to go. Every year in the month of June we celebrate a day known as “International Yoga Day” on 21 st day of June.
First international yoga day
The first international yoga day was observed around 21 st day of June 2015 organise by “Ministry Of AYUSH in which our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi took initiative to make people aware about the importance of practising yoga daily.
The practising of yoga is an old tradition in our Indian culture which is being followed by our gurus and sadhus since centuries. It is believed that the origin of yoga is derived from the Hindu god Lord Shiva who is also famous with the name “ Adi Yogi” and is also known as the teacher of all yogis and gurus.
THEME: HOME AND WITH FAMILY.
Every year our Prime Minister gives a theme for this very special day because as per his belief that his country people need to connect to yoga and make a part of their daily routine for better mental and physical health.
This year also after so many negative things going on in our country our prime minister didn’t forget about this special day and provided us with a theme i.e. “ Yoga At Home And Yoga With Family”.
Due to this pandemic virus outbreak, the yoga cant is practised in a group together outside the home so he decided to give this theme and ask people to practise yoga inside their house with full enthusiasm.
WHY A PERSON SHOULD PRACTISE YOGA IN THEIR DAILY LIFE?
Before coming to the answer to the asked question we should know what is yoga? Well as
per the belief, it is said that “yoga is a life of self-discipline built upon the tenets of
simple living and high thinking.
Through this, a human can heal their own health and the mind which will help in removing all the obstacles present in the path of success and happiness.
This not only gives a healthy or slim body but it also helps in curing any kind of
mental and physical ailment like Diabetes. AYUSH has proved that yoga has the power of
reversing diabetes, in fact, I have seen the practical improvement of this proved theory
in my own family.
My uncle was having a hereditary diabetic and was on insulin but after practising yoga daily and eating healthy diet his insulins are stopped his the diabetic level is normal and he is eating each and every kind of sugar fruits which a a diabetic person should not eat.

REGULAR PRACTISING YOGA…..
But I have seen people practising this for 1 month. They don’t feel any the effect they just stop practising, this happens because they think that yoga is some kind of magic or miracle which can cure such old physical and
mental problems within just one the month of practice, so this is all about common sense for getting any result you need to give at least 6 months to realise the effect, in fact, it’s not about only yoga it’s about each and every kind of workout or activity you need to be patient and give time to anything to get its fruitful result.
Five paths in Yoga
It consists of five paths i.e. proper diet, proper exercise, proper breathing, proper relaxation and positive thinking & meditation. If we follow this five path of yogic life

Depression.
In today’s lifestyle especially of youngsters, yoga is required, because in today’s time due
to so much competition outside the world, people are not able to cope up with the
challenges and due to shame, loss of hope, the negativity they are such big steps of ending
their life and the main reason is the depression.
Recently the famous actor Sushant Singh Rajput end his life due to depression and soon after that one law student in Guwahati committed suicide due to this depression.
These incidents are an eye-opener for humans. We need to stop running like a horse in a
race for once and think about our inner peace, we need to understand that too much desires
can lead us to the destruction of ourself.
We need to slow down a little and work on our inner peace and physical health so that we can live a peaceful and happy life and stop taking from these destructive steps of ending our lives.
Let’s promise on this auspicious day to ourself and to our family that we will cherish
our life in every situation and will find our inner peace and physical health by
practising and adapting these five paths of yoga and spread the awareness around
us…….
